What is BS EN 60529 (often referred to as the IP Code)?
IP Code is a means of providing a solution to the ambiguous terms of weather proof, weather resistive, etc. that allows the specifier to make a practicable judgment call as to how severe a degree of weather protection he needs, which in the event of a dispute can be rationalized back to a recognized test criteria.
