Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) has two brands of sound attenuated enclosure offerings - both are available in non sound attenuated weather resistive enclosures from a construction method perspective. Our dual-line approach is intended to provide you and your customers with a value choice as part of our philosophy of always being up front with our offerings and yet providing the highest possible quality.

GenCoustic™ Line
Our hybrid value line, GenCoustic products, are ideally suited for coastal regions or jobsites that require the benefits of aluminum. GenCoustic products incorporate a more literal interpretation of international sound standards for "average" noise levels as measured from all sides and top of the enclosures. Our GenCoustic product line will incorporate an aluminum panel construction up to 0.100" and naturally will have acceptable levels of impact resistance.

GenOpticoustic™ Line
Our high-end sound attenuated galvannealed steel enclosures, our GenOpticoustic product line, are constructed with an option of heavier guage aluminum ( 0.125" or higher) than our GenCoustic line. Sound performance is exceptional - limiting any one-side deviation to +-3dB(A) based on overall average sound performance. Impact and wind resistance of all GenOpticoustic products are at higher levels than any of our GenCoustic line products.
